Celebrating the history & future of Ultimate
Transforming the culture of sports

Our Missions

UHF
–To promote the growth of Ultimate and celebrate its history.
CCCS–To be a catalyst and supporting structure for the transformation of sports culture.

These complementary initiatives draw upon and support each other’s missions. The CCCS uses the example, experience, and lessons learned from Ultimate to promote cultural change in other sports. The UHF draws upon community interest in the transformation of sports culture to promote Ultimate and increase the game’s exposure, acceptance, and growth.

Our Strategy

To engage and support communities in pro-actively shaping and guiding their sports culture.

Our Primary Method

Facilitation of Community Dialogues, which help constituent groups define their roles in creating and guiding new cultural constructs.

Our Process

The application of Total Quality Management (TQM) to the dialogue process will eventually transform the dialogue groups into quality circles. TQM is credited with spawning a "second industrial revolution" that has/is transforming the culture of industry and governments to produce "best in class" services, processes, and products. The application of TQM to community initiatives is a unique and potentially revolutionary approach to community work and social change.
